This summer, Tuscan Kitchen in Portsmouth will embrace the season by hosting a series of events catered toward foodies and sun dancers. Scotch Dinner – June 28 On June 28, executive chef David Crinieri will host a three-course pairings dinner featuring artisan Italian cuisine with scotches. While guests explore tastes of Italy, each course will be complemented by selections from Scotland's five scotch regions including Glendronach Peated, Benriach and Glenglassaugh.
The first course is a Focaccia Crostini with poached and grilled peach, burricotta, fennel agro dolce and prosciutto di parma, while the second course is Duck Pansoti with cherry mustard demi-glace, thyme and ricotta salata. The final course is a Short Rib with braised Yukon gold potato. broccoli rabe, gorgonzola, watermelon radish and toasted garlic.
