Our program will begin with a presentation at the Wentworth Lear Historic Warehouse – then we will walk through a city neighborhood to look at various buildings and evidence of their history, and end at the Portsmouth Public Library where there are many reference materials available. Attendees are encouraged to bring along notepad and paper, and a personal laptop though computers will also be available during the library visit portion of the program. John Mayer is the Executive Director of the Amesbury (MA) Carriage Museum, a small local-history museum.
