Albacore Park, a National Landmark Site in Portsmouth, NH, is once again an official location for Wreaths Across America (WAA). The theme for the 2024 veteran's wreath laying ceremony is, "Live with Purpose". The ceremony will take place in Albacore Park’s memorial garden located at 569 Submarine Way, Portsmouth, NH, on Saturday, December 14th at 12:00pm. This ceremony is a free event and all are welcome to attend.  Albacore Park is a nonprofit maritime museum that offers walk-through tours of the decommissioned submarine known as the USS Albacore (AGSS-569). December 14th will also be its last day open in 2024 before it closes for the winter season. It will re-open in spring of 2025. For more information please visit: ussalbacore.org.
