The format for this year's tournament will be a bramble. A bramble starts off just like a scramble: the members of each team tee off, and the best drive is selected. However, in a bramble, after the best drive is selected, all players play from that spot, but then continue playing their own ball, stroke-play style, until each has holed out, producing four individual scores. This will allow players of all levels to play in and enjoy the tournament. The cost is $780 per team ($195 per player). All players must complete a registration form and return it with a 50% deposit to hold a foursome.
Your team sponsorship includes play and entitles your organization to recognition in the program. Also included in the package are a continental breakfast and an expertly prepared Italian Feast served by The Oaks. The tournament will also feature a beat the pro, hole-in-one, closest to the pin and putting contest. The top three teams and individual skills (longest drive, closest to pin, etc.) will be honored with grand prizes at the awards ceremony following lunch.
Golf Committee members are expecting a sellout, so those who want to guarantee their slots should sign up today!
Those interested in helping out on the committee may contact Victoria Gray, at (781) 229-5465; Bill Hurley, (603) 781-6795; or Ginny Griffith, at (603) 610-5514.
