3S ARTSPACE TO HOLD ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT, SWIZZLE ON JUNE 16THMay 04, 2018
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., May 4, 2018 —3S Artspace welcomes you to our home at 319 Vaughan Street in Portsmouth, NH on Saturday, June 16 at 6pm for Swizzle, our annual fundraising event. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, 3S Artspace is generously supported by people of the Portsmouth community and beyond. Each ticket purchase to Swizzle helps to ensure 3S Artspace can continue to present affordable, inspiring performances, and art in all its forms.
In its second year, Swizzle aims to deliver an immersive summer party where people can connect with friends, spark their curiosity, and be completely entertained by a collection of indoor and outdoor offerings representative of the year-round events profile of 3S.
“We’ve presented and hosted amazing programs in the past year. Swizzle is the perfect medium to celebrate these successes and share future aspirations," said Beth Falconer, Executive Director of 3S Artspace. "The wonderful thing about Swizzle is that not only can we tell the community about these things, we can SHOW them who we are all packed into one fun evening.”
Attendees can expect live music and artistic performances throughout the evening like the Americana of Jake Davis & The Whiskey Stones, the vibraphone vibes of Nihco Gallo, and an after-party beginning at 9pm featuring the soul music of Jesse Dee. There will also be interactive tracking art that transposes people’s movements into a mesmerizing video installation created by Michael Prince, and the 3S Gallery will house the premiere of Gallery exhibit, Freeze-Thaw: Field Research + Works From The Arctic Circle. Beyond this awaits even more delight and surprise at Swizzle. Join us!
