Chamber Collaborative Hosts Panel Discussion on Cool Corporate Cultures for Retaining Employees
Business Development Series Presented by Bank of New Hampshire

While unemployment on the Seacoast is at an all-time low, employees now have options of where they want to work. To educate business owners on the growing trends in company culture, The Chamber Collaborative will be hosting Cool Corporate Cultures for Retaining Employees, an event in the Business Development Series presented by Bank of New Hampshire. Hear from local companies on Wednesday, October 25th from 8-10am at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel, 250 Market Street, Portsmouth, NH.

Three local businesses will share their techniques for crafting a corporate culture that boosts employee satisfaction and retention. These businesses recognize the importance of cultivating a positive working environment and how their culture helps to retain their talented employees. The panel discussion will feature:

    • Jessica Todd, Owner of Jessica Todd Studios
    • Nick Mirabello, Chief Inspiration Officer of MassPay
    • Luke Staskal, Human Resources Director, Wheelabrator Technologies

"Culture is important to me and my business because our culture is our foundation,” says Jessica Todd, owner of Jessica Todd Studios. “Similar to a house, you need a strong foundation to support everything else. Culture also grounds us in our "why" and keeps us focused on our mission."

In this session, you’ll learn ways you can implement better culture strategies into your company. These techniques can be applied to businesses both big and small. If you’re concerned about losing your employees to your competition, this session is for you.

Tickets for Cool Corporate Cultures for Retaining Employees – Business Development Series presented by Bank of New Hampshire are free for The Chamber Collaborative members and $10 for future members. For more information and to register, please visit portsmouthcollaborative.org/events.
