    Children’s Museum Jingle Bell Express:
    Not Your Typical Holiday Journey

(Dover NH – November 27, 2017) – The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s third annual Jingle Bell Express is not your typical holiday kids program. Families who participate will don their PJs and board a giant C&J double-decker bus, decked out with holiday decorations, and driven by the jolliest bus driver you’ll ever meet. He will take families on a carol-filled, meandering ride to Dover’s Cochecho Country Club, where kids will warm up by a giant fireplace, while listening to the classic children’s book, “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg (copyright 1985) read by an animated elf, also known as Meredith Lamothe, the museum’s Early Childhood & Literacy Coordinator. Then while families are enjoying refreshments, they’ll get a visit from a special guest. This special guest will consult his list and call each child up by name to receive a keepsake gift, and pose for family photos. Then a happy, well fed and excited bus full of families will make their way back to the Children’s Museum to play in all the exhibits and do some special holiday crafts.

“This time of year can be so magical for kids,” shared Meredith Lamothe. “We are so honored to be a small part of these families’ holiday traditions and to be able to offer them something unique like Jingle Bell Express.”
