    CJ Architects Hires Project Architect to Support Continued Growth
    Ashley Nelson Brings Diverse Background and Skills to the Firm
    PORTSMOUTH, NH, January 2, 2018 – CJ Architects, a leading regional architectural design and management firm responsible for the design of several of the seacoast’s future landmark buildings and communal spaces announced today that it has hired Ashley Nelson as a Project Architect. Ms. Nelson is the latest hire to support the firms growing portfolio of clients throughout New Hampshire and Maine.
    Ms. Nelson, a graduate of Roger Williams University with a B.S. in Architecture has spent the last six-years a variety of fields ranging from staffing to health care.   Joining CJ Architects represents a return to her first-love, architecture.
    “ My diverse work experience allows me to be flexible and do whatever it takes to keep clients satisfied,” said Ms. Nelson.  “I have always been an artistic person and I love to problem-solve.  That is what attracted me to architecture in the first-place, particularly creating space that has a positive effect on how people experience place.” 
    Ms. Nelson hopes to use her new position to continue to improve the building environment in the seacoast area.  Her primary interests center around a love of New England’s history and a desire to renovate and restore older structures, as well as, designing new space that compliments its surroundings and accentuates the beauty and culture of the community.
    “Ashley’s background, skills and passion for creative design solutions makes her a perfect fit for the philosophy of our firm,” stated Carla Goodnight, Lead Architect and owner of CJ Architects. “ She has a strong work-ethic and authentic team spirit.”
    CJ Architects will be announcing that it has been selected to design several large development projects in the coming weeks.  Ms. Nelson has been hired to underpin the firms design efforts and assist them in their continued growth.
