‘Family Morning Out’ comes to Seabrook
SEABROOK — A new program for children ages birth through six, with their parents or caregivers, is coming to Seabrook. On Wednesday mornings this summer, Families First Health & Support Center will bring Family Morning Out – which it also offers in Epping and Exeter – to the Rockingham Community Action building on Lafayette Road.
During Family Morning Out, children explore age-appropriate crafts and other activities, have positive play with peers and adults, and enjoy songs, stories and snack. Rachel Kradin, MSW, will lead the group for Families First.
Two other organizations located in the RCA building will contribute to the success of the program. Head Start is lending its brand new space, while the Southern New Hampshire Services summer food program will provide healthy snacks.
Families First also has a branch of its health center in the RCA building.
Family Morning Out meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. every Wednesday through August 23. The program is free, and all families are welcome. More information is available at 603-422-8208 (press 2) or tinyurl.com/ffparenting.
