Federal Savings Bank Promotes Barbara Graziano
Dover- Federal Savings Bank President and CEO, James J. O’Neill, Jr., is pleased to announce that Barbara Graziano, Durham Branch Manager, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Bank Secrecy Act Officer.  Barbara has been with Federal Savings Bank for four years, joining as the Durham branch manager in 2013. She quickly made an impact with the bank, being named Federal Savings Bank Employee of the Year in 2015.  Mrs. Graziano has over sixteen years’ experience in banking.  Barbara is a 2011 graduate of Massachusetts School of Law, a 2015 graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking, and a 2017 graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.  In addition to her role as Durham Branch Manager, Barbara is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, having passed the bar in 2012.  Her extensive banking credentials combined with her background in law make her an excellent choice for Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
In her new role as BSA Officer, Barbara will be responsible for ensuring that the bank remains in compliance with regulations set forth in the Bank Secrecy Act.  She will also be tasked with guaranteeing that the bank is in accordance with Anti Money-Laundering regulations. The Bank Secrecy Act, passed in 1970, requires financial institutions to follow certain regulations and guidelines regarding large cash transactions and the purchase of monetary instruments.  It was created in part so that the federal government could rely on financial institutions for assistance with reference to money laundering and other financial crimes. “Barbara’s commitment to Federal Savings Bank and our customers is unwavering,” said O’Neill. “We are very excited to have her working in this new role,” he added.  Mrs. Graziano will now be working out of the Dover office and can be reached at 603-742-4680.
Since 1890, Federal Savings Bank has operated as a true community bank, a “mutual” bank owned by its depositors. The bank has offices in Dover, Barrington, Durham, Portsmouth and Rochester. For more information, call 1-800-462-2265 or visit www.fsbdover.com.
