Leadership Seacoast, an organization committed to developing informed and active community leaders, will host two informational breakfasts for candidates, alumni and the other interested parties. Attendees will learn more about the 6-month, experiential leadership program that begins in January 2019.The first breakfast will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 8:30-10:00 am at Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, in the newly-constructed Bradley Commons building in Dover, New Hampshire. The second will be on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 7:30-9:00 am at the Krempels Center on the Community Campus in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both events are free for program candidates and open to the public.

In August, Community Action Partnership of Strafford County moved into the new-built Bradley Commons, a 61,000-square-foot multi use, workforce housing building. The move allows Community Action Partnership, also known as Strafford CAP, to consolidate three different Dover locations, including Dover Head Start, into the new facility. Guests at the recruitment breakfast will see firsthand how Strafford CAP's new headquarters allows the organization to streamline services to better serve their clients and continue to grow programming to educate, advocate and assist people in the county to meet their basic needs

For more than 20 years, the Krempels Center has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with brain injuries. The Center’s innovative program is geared toward the unique and varied needs of brain injury survivors with extensive input from its members.
Adults living with these injuries have the chance to recoup through courses including art, communication, and technology.

A continental breakfast will be served at both events. After presentations, guests will enjoy a behind-the scenes tour of each facility. The informational session is free for candidates and $20 for alumni. All proceeds from this event support scholarships for 2019 Leadership Seacoast participants.
