    Portsmouth NH, August 1, 2018- Local non-profit Leadership Seacoast, an organization committed to developing informed and active community leaders, is seeking nominations and applications for its next Executive Director.
    Reporting to a 14-member board, the Executive Director will lead the organization in its mission to positively impact the community by developing knowledgeable and engaged leaders through exploration of community issues. The Executive Director will lead, coordinate, and facilitates all aspects of the Leadership Seacoast program, with support and direction from the Leadership Seacoast Board of Directors.  Major responsibilities include fundraising, coordination and delivery of program day curriculum; community outreach; timely communications with program participants, alumni, and board members; administration of organization’s finances; and seeking and securing sponsorships.
     Entering its 30th year of service, Leadership Seacoast delivers a 6-month program which runs January through June and provides experiential curriculum and learning encounters. “This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organization,” said Sonya Merritt, chair of the Search Committee.    Resumes are being accepted until August 20, 2018.
