New Generation will host their thirty-year gala celebration in Portsmouth at the Harbor Events function facility on March 31, 2017.  The gala serves as a key fundraiser for the organization and this year honors the thirty years they have been serving women, their babies and children in a safe family – oriented shelter.

New Generation located in Greenland, NH, provides shelter and guidance for pregnant and parenting homeless women and their infants regardless of race, religion, marital status, disability, or economic status.  New Generations offers more than shelter. Each resident participates in programs designed to increase proper, effective parenting and self-sufficiency with the goal of living on their own and supporting themselves while raising their family.

This annual dinner event features a three-course sit-down dinner, silent and live auctions.

Tickets can be purchased at http://newgengala.brownpapertickets.com

The funds raised at this event will help to support and expand the shelter, parenting education, case management and life-skills coaching, aftercare and transitional housing that is offered by New Generation.  The needs for these services continue to grow and are made possible by the generous sponsors, donors and attendees at this event.

“New Generation takes in women who are expecting a child and teaches them all that they are willing to learn. New Generation is exactly what it sounds like – a new generation coming into this world. And if you want a second chance to make life better, this would be your opportunity.” Charity, Former Resident

The event is sponsored by Direct Capital, Baker Newman Noyes, Liberty Mutual, Paradigm Plumbing, St. Thomas Aquinas, Cornerstone, Garnett Hill, Harbour Women’s Health, Northeast Delta Dental, Scarponi Electric, Well Sense Health Plan, Bayside Distributing, D.B. Warwick and Jardiniere Flowers.
