‘Currents’ on exhibit in June at Levy Gallery
PORTSMOUTH – Ready for some warmer weather and related artwork to gaze at?
New Hampshire Art Association members will have a summer exhibition titled, “Currents,” during the month of June.
While members were encouraged to tailor their pieces to this them, it was not required. NHAA members were also invited to paint plein air and photograph the Piscataqua River on June 1 in collaboration with the Gundalow’s Piscataqua River Festival and submit the art created during that in this exhibit.
The public is invited to view this taste of summer in the Main Gallery of the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery on State Street beginning June 5 with an opening reception planned for Friday, June 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. during the Arts ‘Round Town walk, which takes place the first Friday of the month.
