Online Auction to Benefit Local Children’s Museum

(Dover, NH / October 28, 2017) – Walt Disney World park hopper passes, restaurant gift certificates, memberships and more are just a few of the things up for bidding in the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire annual Online Auction Fundraiser. The auction is online now through Bidding For Good through Sunday, November 5 at 9 pm.

This online auction is part of the museum’s PizzaFest event on Saturday, November 4. A PizzaFest ticket gets guests into the museum to taste-test a ton of pizza from local restaurants, who create special toppings just for the event. This year’s PizzaFest has 8 participating restaurants, three guest judges, Roy Sullivan from 98.7 The Bay as the MC, and a handful of silent auction items including a large package of cured Boar’s Head meat, wine, Yankee candles, original art and more.

The items up for bid in the online auction include a range of prices and themes: tickets to a Wizard Yule Market; a “Ride with a Friend” pass to Rye Airfield for skate or bike enthusiasts; signed picture books from local illustrators; a private chocolate tasting seminar for up to twenty people; memberships to places like Strawbery Banke or the Seacoast Science Center; restaurant gift cards to places like The Franklin Oyster House or The Falls Grill & Tavern; tickets to theater performances at Capitol Center for the Arts or The Music Hall; ski lift tickets to Cannon Mountain, Attitash, or King Pine; and even a Paddock Ride with Dover Mounted Patrol horses CJ or Rasa.

The PizzaFest event, which is sponsored by D.F. Richard with additional support from Smuttynose Brewing Company will be held from 5-7pm on November 4 at the Children’s Museum of NH in Dover, and all proceeds benefit the museum’s innovative educational and outreach programs. Tickets are available online at www.childrens-museum.org. The cost of admission to the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s PizzaFest is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 3-10, and children under age 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased online. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12 for adults and $9 for children ages 3-10 if space permits.

The online auction can be accessed by visiting www.biddingforgood.com/CMNHPizzaFest anytime until Sunday, November 5 at 9 pm.
