    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Exeter Area New Car Dealership Association Supports Local Hunger Organization, Gather
Portsmouth, NH – The mission of collecting food and sharing it with those in need requires the efforts of all members of the community. To this end, Gather is dedicated to strengthening partnerships throughout the Seacoast community. It also underscores a commitment to address food insecurity not only by effectively gathering and distributing food, but also in building and sustaining strong community support. Exeter Area New Car Dealers Association supported Gather with a beautiful van in June 2016 and has continued to support Gather’s fight against hunger in 2018 with a generous $5,000 grant supporting Gather’s Meals 4 Kids program, which serves 500 children in their immediate service network.
“We’re honored by the ongoing support of this local association and are continually humbled by the strong communal bonds that are present throughout the seacoast,” said Gather’s Executive Director, Deb Girard. “Exeter Area New Car Dealership continue to step up to the plate and deliver us with invaluable support that we’re forever grateful for, not only as an organization, but as philanthropic partners in ridding the seacoast of hunger.”
"Every member of the association lives and works locally, and we take that sentiment to heart,” said Seacoast Volkswagen’s Doug Miles. “We are proud and honored to be able to support Gather and its long term commitment to this community and hope to be able to do so for many years to come. It’s  vital we all support one another and Gather’s mission is imperative to the literal health of those that are in need. We’re here to assist in that in our own way.”
