The Friends of Rice Public Library have invited Wood Island Life Saving Station Assoc. to describe the brave men of the US Life Saving Service who lived on that small island, give an update on the restoration project and provide a description of the maritime museum that will (hopefully) soon be ready for the enjoyment of the public.

Entitled "Wood Island Life Saving Station: Past, Present and Future" the event will be held at the Kittery Community Center's, Star Theatre, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 22.

WILSSA Board members David Kaselauskas and Sam Reid will be presenting.

Please join us for this fun event and spread the word to others!

There is no charge for admission.

The Star Theatre is located at 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, Maine.
