Portsmouth, New Hampshire, October 18, 2017 - Bestselling novelist Elin Hilderbrand returns to the Loft on Monday, November 13, with her latest work, WINTER SOLSTICE, appearing in The Music Hall’s Writers in the Loft series. The book is the fourth and final novel in her Winter Street series and follows the Quinn family as they prepare to celebrate the holidays under one roof, at Nantucket’s Winter Street Inn.
The 7pm event includes an author presentation and moderated Q+A, plus a book signing and a meet-and-greet. It will be held at The Music Hall Loft at 131 Congress Street, in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
“I’ve been following the Quinn family through their trials, tribulations, and triumphs, and am so excited to welcome Elin back to the Loft with her final novel in the series,” said Kait Smith, The Music Hall’s Content Marketing Manager, also the evening's moderator.  “I’m a great fan of Elin and her books, and I can’t wait to chat with her. As the publisher says ‘ it wouldn’t be a Quinn family gathering if all went smoothly,’ and, well, there is a lot to talk about with this one!”
It’s been too long since the entire Quinn family has been able to celebrate the holidays under the same roof, but that’s about to change. With Bart back safe and sound from Afghanistan, the Quinns are preparing for a holiday more joyous than any they’ve experienced in years.
And Bart’s safe return isn’t the family’s only good news: Kevin is enjoying married life with Isabelle; Patrick is getting back on his feet after paying his debt to society; Ava thinks she’s finally found the love of her life; and Kelly is thrilled to see his family reunited at last.
But it just wouldn’t be a Quinn family gathering if things went smoothly. A celebration of everything we love – and some of the things we endure – about the holidays, WINTER SOLSTICE is Elin Hilderbrand at her festive best.
Elin Hilderbrand is the mother of three three-sport-athlete children, an aspiring fashionista, a dedicated jogger, a world explorer,an enthusiastic foodie, and a grateful three-year breast cancer survivor. She has called Nantucket Island her home since 1994. WINTER SOLSTICE is her twentieth novel.
The ticket package for Writers in the Loft: Elin Hilderbrand  on Monday, November 13, at 7 pm, is $40 ($38 members). In addition to a reserved seat, the package includes a copy of WINTER SOLSTICE  ($26 hardcover), a bar beverage, author presentation, Q+A, and book signing meet-and-greet.  Packages can be purchased online at TheMusicHall.org, over the phone at 603.436.2400 or in person at the B2W Box Office at the Historic Theater, 28 Chestnut Street.
