Tourism Services
The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce operates a year-round Visitor Information Center at our 500 Market Street address, and an information kiosk in downtown Market Square, open May-October. Stop in, give us a call at (603) 436-3988, or E-mail info@portsmouthchamber.org for more information. Our knowledgeable staff & volunteers will be happy to assist you, and offer our Guide to the Seacoast and other visitor & relocation guides. We also offer a Lodging Assistance Board with direct lines to area accomodations, and an internet station for access to online resources.
The Chamber also offers guided walking tours of the historic Portsmouth Harbour Trail, and step-on guide services for bus tours. All tours highlight the area's maritime history, working waterfront, and historic homes - and pass by the downtown shops and restaurants.
Bus & Group Tours
As a member of the American Bus Association, the Chamber welcomes bus and group tours! For itinerary assistance, information on group tours (guided walking tours and step-on guide services), tour & meeting planner support, and more call Nicki Noble, tourism manager, at (603) 610-5517.
Travel Writers
The Chamber welcomes inquiries from writers with credentials. Discover why Portsmouth was named one of the 2008 Dozen Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. We'll familiarize you with all the fun, unique, interesting spots on the Seacoast! Please send bios and clips to Nicki Noble at tourism@portsmouthchamber.org .
