Description
This special tour of Jackson House (c. 1664), the oldest timber-framed house in New Hampshire, focuses on the 1924 restoration by Historic New England founder William Sumner Appleton. Letters and other documents reveal Appleton's thought process and early preservation theories.
Enjoy light refreshments in the orchard.
