Description
The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its ninth year, helps keep beaches, rivers, parks and lakes across America ?barefoot friendly.? In 2015, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protection and enjoyment of the world?s oceans, waves and beaches, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 12 cleanups nationwide, stopping in Hampton, NH. On August 1, interested volunteers are asked to help clean-up The Wall (931 Ocean Blvd., Hampton, NH 03842). Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and, afterwards, all volunteers are invited to attend a celebration at nearby Flatbread Pizza, organized by the Surfrider Foundation, featuring surf-inspired fare. Tickets for the celebration will be distributed at the cleanup.
