Toddlerfest
Wednesday, September 27, 10am-5pm
When the big kids go back to school, it’s time for young visitors to rule the roost and enjoy exciting activities geared just for them and their caregivers. Toddlerfest 2017 runs every day Saturday, September 16 through Sunday, October 1st, culminating in the Children’s Museum of NH’s 34th Birthday Party and grand re-opening of the museum’s Build It – Fly It exhibit. Today you can pay a few extra dollars to take part in the museum’s Wee Ones Wednesdays PRE Preschool classes offered at 9:45am and again at 10:45am. Parents of babies can try the museum’s First Friends and Baby Storytime program from 9:30-10:30am, free with admission. Join a free with admission Groove and Grow Family Music Class from 10:15-11am led by music therapist Marissa Scott from the Sonatina Center. Drop into the STEAM Innovation Lab anytime after 2:30pm for a Fizzy Drips experiment. Drop into the MUSE Studio anytime during the day to make an egg shaker instrument, go magnet fishing, and explore alphabet activities. All activities are free with museum admission. Toddlerfest is sponsored by Saint Mary Academy. To learn more about Toddlerfest or the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, visit www.childrens-museum.org or call 603-742-2002.
