Something about the mystery of islands and the endless sea vista seems to ignite creativity, and the Shoals have inspired writers, musicians and artists for centuries. Step back in time to one of America’s first salons and explore the work the Shoals’ own Celia Thaxter along with the artistry of the visitors to her parlor. Discover how these talented individuals collaborated to produce some of their finest pieces. On Saturday, November 19 join us for Star Island’s fall fundraiser, an evening inspired by Celia Thaxter and her talented circle of friends.
