Description
The Portsmouth Music and Arts Center's Seventh Annual Jazz Night replicates a Jazz Club in the intimate setting of The Music Hall Loft the kind of club you might have visited in New York City in the late 40s or 50s. This year's band features nine of the region?s top jazz musicians with vocalist Taylor O'Donnell, Chirs Klaxton on trumpet, saxophonists Matt Langley, Eric Klaxton and Russ Grazier, guitarist Jim Dozet, Jeff Auger on keys, drummer Jim Rudolf, and Nate Therrien on bass. The evening features music spanning the past century, celebrating jazz history and introducing new works of today. Join the PMAC jazz faculty for this celebration of America's original art-form.
