Description
Mamadou Kelly from Mali is the Master of Niger Delta Desert Blues whose recent album, Djamila, was named one of the top albums of 2015 by Songlines Magazine. Steeped in Mali’s rich musical history, Kelly’s lyrical style combines with his group’s virtuoso accompaniment to make it all sound so easy. The group includes legends, key members of Afel Bocoum’s band, Alkibar, and of the Ali Farka Toure Allstars.
