Description
Lots of people live through hard times, but few get as many good songs out of it as Margo Price. She has survived her share of trials and tragedies, but the Nashville up-and-comer understands that the best country music transforms such tribulation into triumph. On her solo debut, Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, she never whines about her lot, nor does she sound self-absorbed. Instead, her tough-minded songs emphasize the lessons she has learned, the wisdom she has gained, the strength she has found to keep on keepin’ on.
