Join Dr. Christopher Couture, of Wentworth Health Partners Seacoast Orthopedics & Sport Medicine, as he provides parents, couches, and students an overview of the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related concussions in young athletes.
You will hear about the "11 R's" that arise of concussions. You'll also gain an understanding of the basic pathway for concussion management and the importance of Rehabilitation Services for prolonged/complicated sports concussion symptoms.
Dr. Christopher Couture
Dr. Couture is experienced in sports medicine, concussion management, and rehabilitation. He is also specially trained to perform many ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures. Specializing in the treatment of all athletes, Dr. Couture serves as the Head Team Physician for UNH Wildcats Athletics. Dr. Couture also serves as a member of the United States Ski & Snowboard Association’s Physician Pool.
