Mark Broth of Drummond Woodsum' s Employment Law Group and Mona Movafaghi of Drummond Woodsum' s Immigration Practice Group will be hosting a seminar entitled Practical Considerations in Hiring, including Hiring of Foreign Nationals and I-9/E-Verify Issues. We will also offer a complimentary continental breakfast. We know this seminar will be useful both for the updates in hiring practices as well as the immigration implications of yet another wave of I-9 Audits. The following topics will be covered during the morning presentation: Employee Handbooks, Employment Contracts, Independent Contactors, Non-compete and Non-disclosure Agreements, Hiring of Foreign Nationals, New I-9 Forms and New Enforcement Program, Routine I-9 Form Maintenance, and To E-Verify or Not to E-Verify.
