14 Hancock Street, Portsmouth
Professional skaters will perform two shows next month at the Puddle Dock Pond outdoor ice rink at Strawbery Banke Museum.
Produced by founding artistic director Douglas Webster of Ice Dance International, the shows are scheduled to feature Ryan Bradley, the 2011 United States men's champion, and the duo Kim Navarro and Brent Bomnentre, U.S. bronze medalists and world team members, all of whom performed at the inaugural show at the local rink in 2015.
New skaters this year are expected to include Ashley Clark, twice a U.S. gold medalist, and Carly Donowick, a member of the U.S. ice dance team for two years who has toured with Holiday on Ice and Disney on Ice. Organizers say the appearances of these skaters may be subject to scheduling.
Each show lasts 30 minutes. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for ages 5-17 or $40 for family (two adults and two children). Children under 5 are free. Strawbery Banke members receive a 20 percent discount. Tickets include skating (skate rentals are an additional $5 per person). VIP tickets that include the opportunity to meet the skating stars after the show for photos and autographs are $22 for adults, $18 for children. Tickets are available at strawberybanke.org.
