The Seacoast Science Center is hosting the premier of Sippin' for Seals, a great night out for a great cause, on Thursday, June 19, 6-9 p.m. to benefit Marine Mammal Rescue and ocean education in New Hampshire. Enjoy fabulous bites prepared by chefs from your favorite local restaurants, sip on a cool cocktail by the sea, and dance the night away to The Crab Shack Band. Held under the Center's festive seaside tent located on the rocky shore of Odiorne Point State Park, you cannot beat the ocean view and relaxed atmosphere. Along with a tasty array of tapas, the River House's master bartender will concoct a special cocktail just for the event. While food and beverages are included in the ticket price, you'll want to bring some cash to try your luck at winning your favorite bottle of wine or specialty beer in the raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 and every ticket is a winner; bottles range from $10 to $100 in value. At press time, participating restaurants and breweries include the River House, Smuttynose Brewing Company, Chill Catering, White Apron, Jumpin' Jays Fish Café, Blue Mermaid, Liberty Lane Catering, Demeters Steakhouse, and Boston Beer Company. Event sponsors include Comcast, Cummings Lamont & McName, PA, Event Lighting Concepts, Exeter Event and Tents, Everyday Details, Prime Buchholz, Physical Sciences, Inc., Public Service of New Hampshire, Pierce Atwood, Rich DeMarco at UBS, and River House Restaurant.
