If Gary Newton were here with us today, he would be so proud of how much growth has taken place over the years in this little black box theatre that he dreamed of so long ago. His extraordinary vision of nurturing new artists and playwrights and allowing them an affordable space to bring their productions, passion projects, and workshops to life here at Players’ Ring continues to thrive after 25 years! This Season, we felt that it was important to share with our audience some of Gary’s magic back to the stage through stories and shared memories as well as some of his own original work .
