It was barely three years ago that this young Oklahoman burst onto the music scene with the release of his debut album, From the Ground Up, to a swarm of critical acclaim - including a Grammy Award nomination (alongside Bonnie Raitt and the Avett Brothers) for Americana Album of the Year, and one of NPR's 10 Artists You Should Have Known in 2012. Not bad for someone in their twenties.
