On Thursday, December 18 at 7pm, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Tracy K. Smith visits The Music Hall Loungewith her new book, FEAR LESS: POETRY IN PERILOUS TIMES. Drawing on deep passion and personal experience, former US Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith demystifies the art form that has too often been mischaracterized as “intimidating.” Smith reclaims poetry as an accessible, deeply human art form—one that helps us confront uncertainty, connect with others, and better understand ourselves.
The 7pm eventfeatures a conversation with Diannely Antigua, the 13th Poet Laureate of Portsmouth, and author of Ugly Music and Good Monster, followed by an audience Q&A anda post-show meet-and-greet. It will be held at The Music Hall Lounge at 131 Congress St., Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
