In the coming weeks, Tuscan Kitchen in Portsmouth will start prepping for summer by hosting a duo of al fresco events in their expansive patio area, one of which is will be a “Summer Grillin’” cooking class. On June 5, culinary educator & executive chef David Crinieri is back with the next installment of his monthly cooking class series: “Summer Grillin'.” Hosted outdoors on Tuscan’s patio area, Chef Crinieri will teach aspiring grill masters and backyard broiling experts the art of preparing marinades, sides and proteins while sharing secrets about the best techniques. At the interactive class, Chef Crinieri will lead his students in creating the following Italian BBQ staples: chicken thighs in a lemon-rosemary marinade served with grilled vegetables and aged balsamic; center-cut pork chop in an orange-fennel marinade served with potato, fennel & pancetta salad; and swordfish spiedini in a lemon-basil marinade served over a summer fregola salad.
