Description
Famed global star, Malian singer and guitarist Vieux Farka Toure' and rising American singer Julia Easterlin are Touristes. After meeting in 2014 Toure' and Easterlin quickly discovered that together there was magic in what they were creating together. Kindred spirits representing two continents - they weave together the modern and the ancient - visceral and subtle - each bringing their musical roots to this divine collaboration. Building off of West African rhythms, New Orleans Funk and Appalachian Folk tradition - this is truly a world music collaboration.
