We are a local artisan and unique goods shop located in vibrant downtown Portsmouth. We are looking for someone to fulfill the following needs of the business: Customer Service and Sales, Check-Out and Register (Clover), Merchandise receiving and data input, general store cleaning, coordination and management of artist items and drop-offs.
If you have any merchandising/product presentation experience that would be excellent. Ideally, you have a skill-set that includes social media post and best practices, good writing skills, photography, video execution. Marketing; email maintenance, promotions, basic marketing knowledge, experience with Canva, Mailchimp, IG, Facebook. You may also be asked for help suggesting and researching new merchandise for the shop. You are friendly and trustworthy. You are smart and like to figure things out on your own but are not afraid to ask for help. You have an eye for design and like to spend your spare time on various creative projects. You may even have a product idea for the shop you'd like to try and sell. You also are very fond of living on the Seacoast, your friendly demeanor enthusiastically shares your knowledge and favorite spots with the numerous visitors that come through our doors.
