    The Portsmouth NH School Department is seeking dynamic teachers excited to join our professional learning community.  Successful candidates will evidence a passion for teaching and learners, demonstrate an ability to collaborate with colleagues as part of a team, be able to design and implement lessons that are engaging and differentiated and possess a strong commitment to academic excellence for all students.

    Individuals possessing the above qualifications and characteristics are strongly encouraged to complete the application process for the positions listed below:

    Positions: 50% Exploring Health Science/ 50% Biology Teacher Anticipated Vacancy

    -New Hampshire certification or certifiable in Life Science (1302)
    -Be eligible for approval by the NH Board of Nursing as a Licensed Nursing Assistant Instructor and Program Coordinator
    -Familiar with Portsmouth School District and district-wide initiative of Professional Learning Communities with a focus on collaboration, assessment, and instruction to support student learning.

    Teach Exploring Health Care Careers grades 9-12
    Teach biology grades 10-12
    Participate in the development of a two-year CTE program, including curriculum development, for Health Science Technology
    Salary: Per negotiated teacher agreement.
