Devine Millimet Announces Election of Attorney Christopher Swiniarski as Shareholder
Devine Millimet is pleased to announce that Christopher Swiniarski has been elected as a shareholder of the firm, effective January 1, 2024.
Chris joined Devine Millimet’s real estate practice group in 2021 with over a decade of experience in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and many years as a real estate paralegal before that. Having worked in the Boston market and another large N.H. firm, his real estate and land use practice covers all aspects of real estate transactions, financing, development, permitting, regulatory matters, and real estate disputes. He regularly appears before numerous municipal zoning and planning boards and represents clients in Superior Court and before the Housing Appeals Board when necessary.
Firm President Anu Mullikin said, “Chris joined us a couple of years ago…he really hit the ground running, filing an objection to a planning board decision that was due (and handed to him) on his very first day of work. Since then, he has become a valued member of the real estate department and the firm as a whole.”
As the newest shareholder at Devine Millimet, Chris noted, “The nature of my practice has led me to meet numerous lawyers in New England. Many are great lawyers and great people, but some fall short of either or both marks. Without exception, the attorneys at Devine are both great lawyers and great people.”
Chris currently serves on the Planning Board in the town of Bedford and tries to stay involved in coaching youth sports. He has also served on the board of directors for various non-profits. Chris is an avid skier and outdoorsman, an over-achieving DIY menace at times, and a novice saltwater angler constantly working to elevate his skills in that endeavor.
