    Real Talk about Mental Illness,

    Recovery & Family

     

    Two authors, keynote speakers, and mental health advocates join us for a moving discussion about their family’s experience with mental illness and recovery. This mother/daughter team pull away the curtain of shame and stigma and openly share their experiences of difficulty, growth, and hope!

    Final Thoughts: Playreading & Discussion on Suicide and Self-Harm

    Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30pm

     

    JOIN US for a virtual reading of the play Final Thoughts by Tim Barretto and a community discussion on the topic of “Suicide & Self-Harm."

     

    Immediately following the play reading, NH Theater Project will facilitate a community discussion (for teenagers and adults) with panelists Dennis Walker, Director of Emergency Services at Seacoast Mental Health Center; playwright Tim Barretto; and Lt. David Keaveny from the Portsmouth Police Department. The Portsmouth High School guidance department will also be available for support.
