Many Faces of Our Mental Health: The 99 Faces Project: Live Virtual Event on Veterans Day, Nov. 11
On Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at One New Hampshire Ave. in Portsmouth—or virtually from 3 to 4: p.m.—Two International Group is hosting an open house for the exhibit: Many Faces of Our Mental Health: The 99 Faces Project.
Participants can attend in person and/or register for the virtual event, which will include a pre-recorded discussion between the artist, Lynda Michaud Cutrell and (Ret.) Brigadier General Don Bolduc, who reflect on the importance and challenges of caring for the mental health of active duty and retired military members and their families.
The virtual tour and discussion following the onsite tour will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. and will include (Ret.) Brigadier General Don Bolduc; Chief of Wellness for the NH National Guard, Richard Oberman; and artist, Lynda Cutrell. Join us for an update from the professionals on the science and the data associated with COVID-19.
Kim McNamara is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist, and has been serving the City of Portsmouth for more than 15 years as the Health Officer. She will update us on the science of COVID-19 as our medical community continues to learn more every day, and speak to the accessibility of one or more vaccines in the coming months.
Dr. Bianca C. Monteiro is a pulmonologist in Dover, and is affiliated with multiple area hospitals. She has been serving on the Health Sub-committee of the Citizens Response Task Force and will share the data-tracking they do weekly, and what trends that data projects.
Bring your questions and get your answers. The session is limited to the first 100 registrants and will be recorded and shared online and on our website, PortsmouthCollaborative.org, next week.

Join the Seacoast Chamber Alliance and the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center for a complimentary webinar about the PPP Forgiveness Applications: Eligibility and filling out the applications on Monday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m.
We will review eligibility guidelines and instructions for the Simpler and EZ applications. If you don’t qualify for either one, we suggest you contact your SBDC advisor to help you fill out the Full application. A question and answer period will follow the program.

Legal Tip: Reread your contract before you terminate it

Businesses must position themselves to be flexible in unpredictable times. For many decision makers, that means cutting costs by carefully reevaluating the terms of existing business arrangements and, if necessary, terminating them altogether. But before terminating any contract—whether it is a service agreement, a long-term supply agreement, or a lease—you should take the time to understand your rights and obligations.
Is there a written agreement? If so, read it. Not every business relationship is documented by way of a written agreement, but most are. Binding agreements can even be created by simple email exchanges—sometimes unexpectedly (that is a topic for another legal tip). Assuming a written agreement does exist, be sure to reread it thoroughly. You may be surprised by what you find. CONTINUED ONLINE
