Have you missed the Festival this summer as much as we have, being in the park together enjoying incredible art? Well, there are some exciting plans for Prescott Park that we wanted to make sure you know about.
As many of you may know, the City of Portsmouth completed aPrescott Park Master Plan in 2017 with the intention of making smart investments and capital improvements that support a bright and successful future for Prescott Park. It's an ambitious plan with several phases of critical upgrades for the park.
The City's Prescott Park Blue Ribbon Committee is presenting their phase one plans for public review this Tuesday, September 15th, virtually from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. You will have the opportunity to review the plans, ask questions of the engineering firm Weston & Sampson, and members of the committee that are present. It's a great way for you to engage in the park improvements!
We encourage you to join the upcoming meeting. Please click HERE for information on how to register for the zoom meeting. These are public sessions open to anyone, but you must register first! For a history of the discussions, you can see the archive HERE.
We will keep you updated on these exciting developments as they unfold. Please join us in applauding the city for its investments in the beautiful Prescott Park!
