NHAA New Member Jurying
PORTSMOUTH – The New Hampshire Art Association will be jurying in new members in October.
NHAA welcomes all visual artists to apply for membership. There are typically two new member jurying opportunities each year. This fall, to reach more statewide artists, the jurying will take place in Manchester.
Those interested will submit four works completed in the last three years. The works submitted should indicate a consistency of quality, style and expression. Artists are strongly advised to submit work that would be viewed as a series or small body of work.
The New Hampshire Art Association, based in Portsmouth, is the oldest statewide art association in NewHampshire. Founded in 1940, it is one of the oldest associations in the country.
NHAA consists of about 300 visual artists who are painters, printmakers, photographers, mixed media artists, and sculptors.
This association has a rich history and is thriving with active artists. The Board of Directors is poised and dedicated to providing longevity and vision.
NHAA’s mission is to connect visual artists with the public through ongoing exhibits and educational activities that encourage appreciation for contemporary culture, foster creativity, and enhance community spirit.
NHAA features only regional New England artists. For more details on the benefits of becoming a member and for an application and entry form, visit www.nhartassociation.org
