Celebrate the 100th birthdays of three of the most important jazz musicians in American history: Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck, and Clark Terry. On Friday night, the faculty of the PMAC Jazz Institute will perform a tribute concert featuring the music of these three jazz giants. On Saturday night, the concert will feature music by some of the jazz musicians who were most influenced by these three icons.
"2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the births of three jazz legends: Charlie "Bird" Parker, Dave Brubeck, and Clark Terry. The influence of these three giants of jazz still resonates today throughout the jazz world. It is an honor to celebrate their achievements and recognize the legacy they left behind," says Russ Grazier, PMAC CEO and Co-Founder.
Each JAZZ NIGHT features a different lineup of the best jazz musicians in the Seacoast, performing completely different, unique shows. Come for one or both evenings and go back in time as The Music Hall Loft is transformed into a NYC jazz club. Jazz Night is generously sponsored by Tangram 3DS, Vida Cantina and C&J Bus Lines.
