  • Spring Restaurant Week Portsmouth & the Seacoast postponed

Our hearts and (virtual) hugs go out to all our friends, family, businesses and neighbors, near and far. It is remarkable and gratifying to every day witness our Seacoast community come together and take care of each other in these unprecedented times.

The news reports change hourly, and we recognize that we don’t know when our extraordinary restaurant community will be able to open up its doors again. But we know they will, and we can’t wait for that to happen! With that in mind, we are postponing Restaurant Week Portsmouth & The Seacoast originally planned for April 16-25, 2020.

We are working together with local restaurants to anticipate what they will need from us when they re-open; and we will be ready!

So in the meantime we ask that you support our amazing and generous restaurant community by purchasing gift certificates, ordering take-out and delivery if you are able, and supporting all our local businesses and cultural attractions in any way possible. These are challenging times for us all. But as Julia Child once said, “Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.” Well we share that attitude with the indomitable Julia Child, the patron saint of the restaurant community.

We are passionate about our restaurants and tremendously interested in seeing, and tasting, what our chefs will be creating here in our neighborhoods once we are past this crisis. We are #SeacoastStrong and we will get through these tough times together. In the meantime, please take good care of one another, and we hope to be raising a glass of good cheer with you soon.
