Celebrating the Nation’s artistic heritage for over 60 years, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art offers visitors a landscaped sculpture garden, dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean, and a permanent collection of over 2,200 works of American art. Founded in 1952 by artist and philanthropist, Henry Strater, the museum has five galleries with changing exhibitions, a museum shop featuring items by local artists and craftspeople, an annual art auction and community educational and outreach programs. Open May 1, through October, 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $10 for adults, and $9 for seniors and students. Members and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. The Ogunquit Museum of American Art will hold their second annual Family Day on Saturday, June 6th fom 10AM-1PM. Family Day is a wonderful way for families to learn about the Museum through hands-on activities!
This free event is for all ages and will feature ongoing art activities, a drumming circle, Annabelle's ice cream and more! The Shop at OMAA will offer 10% off for Family Day.
