The 32nd annual American Independence Festival takes place Saturday, July 16. This festival marks the date that the Declaration of Independence was read out to citizens of Exeter in 1776. To commemorate the special event, the American Independence Museum will have historic reenactors, traditional artisans, and more present on the museum grounds in downtown Exeter.
