The Chamber Collaborative's Public Policy Committee is proud to share a forum on energy efficiencies for your business on Monday, June 13 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Tyco Visitors Center at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth. We will be joined by Kate Peters, a director in the Energy Efficiency group at Eversource Energy. Kate will share the latest in energy and cost saving measures for your company.  

The session is free and open to the community. After the presentation attendees are welcome to view Strawbery Banke's Water Has A Memory Exhibit and gather and network over a drink at the Rosa!  

Kate is committed to helping New Hampshire and Massachusetts residents and businesses save energy and create healthier and more comfortable spaces to live and work through the energy efficiency programs. She can often be found presenting on behalf of the energy efficiency programs at stakeholder meetings, regulatory and legislative hearings, conferences and events. Prior to joining Eversource, Kate was Program Director for the NH Better Buildings Program, a federally funded initiative focused on both residential and commercial energy efficiency projects. She served as Energy and Environmental Policy Advisor for Gov. John Lynch and did legislative work for the N.H. State Senate. In 2016 Kate was named as one of the NH Union Leader’s 40 Under 40. Kate is a graduate of Cornell University and is a certified Building Analyst Professional. She is a native of New Hampshire and lives in Concord with her husband and two children.

The Public Policy Committee consists of Mike Ambrogi, Laurie Mantegari and Katie Meyer of Novocure; City Council liaison to the Chamber, Andrew Bagley; Portsmouth City Manager Karen Conard;  Dave Beaulieu of Unitil; former Portsmouth City Manager John Bohenko, who also serves on the board of directors for Prescott Park Arts Festival; Ben Bradley of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital; Gabe DiSaverio of the Spicy Shark; Nancy Pearson of Mind the Gap and Michelle Nadeau of WIN Waste Innovations.
