A 90-minute extended walking tour of historical downtown, offered every Tuesday at 11AM from May 8 through October. Walk in the steps of a number of U.S. Presidents who have visited the city, and visualize the impact of three major fires in early 19th-century Portsmouth. Your knowledgeable tour guide, Jeff Thomson, will lead you on a 2.75 mile journey through Portsmouth, stopping briefly in front of six historic houses and touching on Portsmouth's economy.
