Join us for a Family Day all about making music!
10 am "Music in my Pockets" Performance
with Jeff Warner
Singing games, accessible "pocket instruments" like spoons and dancing puppets, tall tales, funny songs, old songs, and songs kids teach each other in the playground-all "traditional" in that they have been passed down the generations by word of mouth-will be seen, heard and learned. This program is recommended for adults and children ages 6 and above.
11 am – 4 pm drop in crafts (no registration required)
Stop by all day long as we make our own musical instruments out of recycled materials. Create a cereal box guitar or a paper towel rain stick, and take music with you for the rest of the day!
Pre-registration is required for the "Music in My Pockets" performance. Free admission. Suggested $5 donation.
"Music in My Pockets" is made possible by a grant from New Hampshire Humanities.
