Please join us on the evening of June 19th for a special presentation from the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses. Learn about on the past, present, and future of two local maritime icons: Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse and Whaleback Lighthouse. Presented by Jeremy D'Entremont, operations manager of Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses and the author of more than a dozen books on lighthouses and maritime history. Joining him will be Ronald Kolek, the current chairman of the board of the FPHL, and a radio personality and paranormal investigator, who will provide a glimpse into the ?spirits? of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. For the entire month of June, the library will feature a display of materials on loan from the Friends of the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses, including photographs, diagrams, historical information, and scale replicas of both the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse and the Whaleback Lighthouse. Feel free to visit the Levenson Community Room any time this month to learn more about these valuable historic sites! Open to the public. Free!
